What Dr. Guerra treats

  • Final teeth on implants: full arches in zirconia or metal-acrylic, after implant surgery.
  • Crowns, for teeth weakened by large fillings, cracks or root canals.
  • Dentures and implant overdentures, including dentures that click onto two implants.
  • Redoing dental work that failed, after finding out why it failed.

How treatment works

  1. Design first. Photos, scans and a plan for the shape, size and bite of your new teeth.
  2. Implant surgery, if you need it, with Dr. Daniel Argüelles Rosel, following that design.
  3. Provisional teeth, to test the look, the bite and how you speak.
  4. Final teeth, delivered after healing, usually on a second stay of about a week.

Results vary from person to person, and every plan is confirmed in person before treatment.

Questions and answers

Do I always need implants?

No. If enough healthy teeth remain, crowns or bridges may be the better plan. Implants come in when teeth are missing or can't be saved.

What are the final teeth made of?

Usually zirconia or metal-acrylic (hybrid). Zirconia resists wear and stains; metal-acrylic costs less and is easier to repair. The choice depends on your bite and budget.

Why are the teeth designed before surgery?

So the implants are placed where the teeth need support. You try the design with provisional teeth before the final bridge is made.

Is the remote evaluation a diagnosis?

No. It's a first orientation based on your photos and X-rays. The diagnosis and the final plan are confirmed in person before any treatment.
